Parents or a legal guardian traveling with children under 18 years must present the child's birth certificate and an identity card with photo (passport, for example) at the check-in. For international travels to Brazil, if just one of the parents is traveling with the child, she/he must present – in addition to the child's certificate of birth and identity card with photo – a letter authorizing the trip signed by the other parent with a notarial certification of signature. In case the parents or the legal guardian, as applicable, cannot or are unwilling to give this authorization, a judicial authorization is required. People who intend to travel to Brazil with children must consult with the Brazilian consulate before traveling for more information. Reservations are required for massage services. Reservations can be made by contacting the hotel prior to arrival, using the contact information on the booking confirmation. One child 5 years old or younger stays free when occupying the parent or guardian's room, using existing bedding. Only registered guests are allowed in the guestrooms. Guests can arrange to bring pets by contacting the property directly, using the contact information on the booking confirmation (surcharges apply and can be found in the Fees section). "Really nice vibe"

We had a really nice 3 days stay at Aquabarra. Service is good and provided nice recommendations in buzios. The common spaces are super chilled out and designed with lot of taste. Breakfast was nice and had variety. The spa did not disappoint neither and offered quite fair prices. The area is peaceful and close from Geriba, one of the most beautiful beaches of buzios and less crowded than in the centre. Centre is easily accessible by taxi for $25BR - £5/6€ - Only watch outs would be that the bathroom is very basic: just a simple shower an the "partial ocean views" was not even partial. I would come back with pleasure in coupke or with a group of friends

"Pleasantly surprised! Very good hotel."

We were in Buzios just for two nights but were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Although the staff don't speak English, they were always very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean but the wifi is a bit spotty due to the stepped construction of the hotel building. Speaking of which, Aquabarra sits on a hill and has a very homely decor which I quite liked, complete with lounge chairs and open-air couches. The only catch is that it's a 5-7 minute walk from the beach.

"Great Place, now everybody pls relax a little"

This place tries to be posh, and you might feel a little uneasy when you arrive as a backpacker. Otherwise it is a brilliant stay! + Superb design of the entire place + Best breakfast in 3 weeks + Nice, clean and spacious room + Nice music playing in the background + Cat :) - if you have no car it is a little distance to the beach and to the town (including steep roads) - people working there do not need to be supper happy for me all the time. that does not feel very natural.
