The overall experience at the hotel was great, according to my parents’ feedback. However, there was a booking issue—I accidentally reserved two king rooms for three people instead of four. As a result, they charged us an extra fee for the additional person, even though the rooms were well within capacity. From my experience in other countries, hotels usually don’t charge extra as long as the number of guests doesn’t exceed the room limit. So this felt a bit unreasonable—almost like they were trying to take advantage of us. We ended up paying an extra $40. It’s not a huge amount, but it left a bad impression.

Loved my stay. I wasn't around during the day so I can't comment on the renovation noise but the pool wasn't busy and in a lovely spot. My room had the best view and the hotel staff was constantly checking in on how things were going and wanted to know if they could do anything to make my stay better. I would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful. Gorgeous ocean view. Excellent staff. Food was very good.

Construction above and outside our room was ridiculous. Not what I wanted to hear upon arrival. They quit apx 5:00. Started again prior to 10:00 am. Staff was apologetic but made no effort to reduce the full rate I paid for an Executive Suite. The manager gave me her card and promised a free upgrade if we ever return. Which is basically never gonna happen. It actually wasn’t the worst thing, just not a great start.
