Basecamp Tahoe City

Only stayed one night. I didn’t have enough time to really see the grounds due to the short stay and being tired from a day at the lake. The location was good walkable and just a short drive to kings beach. The complaint I have is that the shower head was terrible could barely wash the soap off your body.

The employee at check in was so annoyed we were 3 min late. Ok I understand he wanted to go home, but in the morning at check out, he was still grump and annoyed we had to talk to him. We couldn’t just leave because we had an issue to work out. He was just grumpy grumpy grumpy.

The hotel was a nice size, very clean, and excellent location. No complaints,I woukd highly recommend.

The rooms need a makeover. Dirty and stained carpet, chipped paneling.

Didn’t have breakfast at the Hotel

Parking lot was a major construction project on day of departure. Had to park overnite at a grocery store which made handling of luggage difficult. Property did make a 50% adjustment to the bill.

modern and very clean .. nice and tasteful remodel .. just two comments …. shower head is crap and insult .. & pillows are VERY uncountable .. way too thick. Great location for walking to the best local restaurants and Lakeshore. I would give 10 out of 10, but had a bad night sleep because of the pillow. HUGE ++ rooms have super quiet mini-split AC
