Bayshore Inn Motel

Dirty. Stove only had one burner working. Cabinets were broken, drawers didn’t work. Fridge was dirty. Mold in the shower. Broken window screen, missing window screen. Bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work. Decor was extremely tacky. Room smelled weird. Kitchen outlet was broken. Neighborhood seemed sketchy.

Staff were especially friendly and helpful!

Was waiting for check in for about two hours I finally decided just to stay in my car as I was exhausted.

Property was clean and quiet. The manager was very attentive and friendly. The room was clean. The bed was nice and bathroom had plenty of soaps and towels. The building is old and could use some upgrades. Other then that I recommend this property for a nice stay.

Mr. Petel and staff were inviting and kind, they even upgraded our room, we felt safe and comfortable to just breathe and vacation in peace

Room / furnishings were old / worn - needs up grades and possibly fresh coat of paint wouldn’t hurt. A/C unit extremely loud. No cable - dish tv - couldn’t watch live tv or get news. Kitchenette had limited supplies and no paper towels or Kleenex available in the room.

Great staff

This is among the 5 worst places I've ever stayed over my 40 years of travelling. In its favor, it was clean and the bed was comfortable---I actually got a good night's sleep considering my disgust about the room. But there is a total lack of maintenance or pride in ownership. I met the owner and he was very sweet. But (1) the lightbulb in the beside lamp had been painted black. I did get a new bulb (2) no smoke alarm (3) missing plate over plug (4) GFI plug in bath did not work (5) bed made poorly (top sheet was used as a bottom sheet) (6) screens missing in two windows. (5) room smelled badly, like old smoke and mustiness. Had to open all windows to air out room. Etc, etc. Fortunately it was one night. I was on a low budget and it was a Saturday night, and they did not require a 2-nite stay. But for the money (Total with taxes etc. $171) it was NOT worth it.

Stay was good, the manager was friendly. Room was as expected, I liked the kitchen. Property was old but the room was comfy and clean. Only problem I had was the screaming lady about every 2 to 3 hours during the night. Not sure if it was the room next to me or a neighboring property.

Functional motel a couple of miles from the harbor. The owner is very conscientious and thoughtful. The property is old and not in the best condition (e.g., broken safety lock on door, no screens on windows, tv not hooked up, bouncy mattress with springs we could feel), but for the price compared to other properties in the area, it was fine.
