Yellowstone Valley Lodge, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The hotel is a very pleasant property with an incredible view.

Location was excellent

Condo was not clean….very dusty and bedspread stained and on the bed.

This was such a great find! The location was spectacular, the rooms were clean and the food was delicious. The staff could not have been nicer. It was a wonderful experience!

The pictures are only exceeded in deception by the manager. We arrived to find the product they are selling was not going to fit our needs. The manager decide to charge us a $300 fee to cancel our reservation. It was a short interaction, but convinced me immediately that there was no way I was letting my family stay at this facility. The pictures make these tiny cabins look huge. The restaurant was locked up tight. We had to search for someone to talk to, and then he turned out to be a complete thief. The grass around the river is not mowed to allow access, and the water is moving to rapidly to be safe. I have stayed in cabins like these before at a price point of only $80 per night, in a much more attractive setting. This setting had the constant sound of traffic zooming by at 55 miles per hour. Certainly not worth the price they are charging to stay there, let alone the price they are charging not to stay there. Do NOT waste your time and money on this low life.

Stayed in a cabin. You share a wall. It was clean and nicely updated. Couldn’t get over the view out the slider and on the deck! Breakfast was good, dinner was pretty good. Staff was helpful. Quick drive to YNP.

BEAUTIFUL location! We had a two bedroom cabin right on the Yellowstone River where we could fish and swim right off our back deck. Management was always helpful and responsive and even provided us with a free room upgrade. Location is perfect for fly fishing various spots along the Yellowstone and Livingston is a short drive for groceries and restaurants. Breakfast at the Lodge each morning was homemade and the Yellowstone Valley Grill was EXCELLENT! The food at the Grill was by far the best food of our entire 10-day trip.

Nothing fancy but good location by the river.
