There was no hot water , just one sheet on bed , sheets where stained , breakfast just OK

No hot water in the room. After waiting for several minutes, no running water came out of the shower so be patient... Very noisy due to location near a busy intersection. No elevator available. Very basic breakfast.

Very good choice in the heart of Iquitos. Clean, fresh rooms and the breakfast is to die for. The best we had in Peru. And a very informative Italian man :)

Owner was really weird. He kept wanting me to pay. Exchange rate was horrible. You have to leave your keys at the front desk when you leave for the day so that they can turn of air conditioner in your room. NOT RECOMMENDED!! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I am not a picky person. This is just a bad place to stay at. In one week with 7 different hotels this was the only place I cannot recommend. Also, my jacket was stolen there.

I arrived at Hotel Dubai around 5pm after a few days in the Amazon and flew back to Lima early the next day so I only really had a couple of hours in Hotel Dubai. I was happy with the hotel. My room was very comfortable, nice hot water, air conditioning, tv with cable, comfy bed. The owner was really friendly and gave me a map of Iquitos and marked some restaurants and bars on it which were close by for me to check out that evening. I left at 6.30 in the morning and breakfast doesn't start until 7am, but they made sure that I had some toast and coffee before I left. I was very happy with my night there.

Small, "family run" atmoshere a couple of blocks from the Plaza de Armas. Small rooms but very clean. Individual ac units are great. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

Iquitos is a extremely dirty place. garbage everywhere and constant noise from mototaxis and motorcycles. The hotel did not have hot water in the room, or a telephone. The internet was spotty and worse than dialup. The saving grace is the owner. A nice guy who will do anything to try and fix the problem. But hard to enjoy the stay with the basics aren't there.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Dubai! The owner and staff were always extremely friendly and helpful, whether I needed suggestions for things to do in Iquitos or simply some help with connecting to the internet. This was by far the most impressive aspect of the hotel and extremely important to me as I was in a new city. The rooms are clean and comfortable, cable TV with English and Spanish channels, and free internet. The location was also great. I was able to walk to the Plaza de Armas and the riverfront in just a few minutes-- no need to take a motocar or taxi if you're looking for good places to eat or some of the main attractions. I'll stay again!

Was clean and close to the city center. A/C worked great and staff very friendly.
