Château Les Carrasses

The whole property is stunning with beautiful external facilities, views on the vineyards

Our room in the chateau was frankly boring ; no real attempt at decorations or giving it some personality And the breakfast basket brought via room service ( there was no option to take it in the restaurant) was minimalistic

We stayed just for one night but we LOVED the breakfast service due to closed kitchen (25th of december) and the amazing young lady in the reception, we think her name might be Anastasia, great service mind and excellent customer service, we were well taken care of and she was very polite and professional.

The pictures in the Internet are VERY DECIEVING!!! The whole place is dirty, unkept in need of serious repairs and attention to détail. The shower was terrible and very complicités to truc to work, as well as dangerous because it is a slippery tub, the AC doesn’t work, We had to jeep the window open and outside it was noisy due to guests outside, so it was hard to get to sleep. The room was dirty and they apologized but it was a terrible disappointment, not at all what we expected The staff are very friendly and apologized but we left a day earlier because we could hardly wait to get out of there. NOT at all recommended!!

The building and grounds.

Buffet breakfast. Not worth €18. I would have thought a place like this would have a great cooked breakfast. No restrurant on Mondays. No bar in evenings.

Spacious, excellent grounds, fantastic property when things go roght.

I made the mistake of thinking the room in the pictures would be the same as allocated. Booking.com reverted to aingle occupancy and I was assigned the small studio version, not the separate bedrom one. this became quite the challenge to overcome.
