"Not impressed"

4.0

Looks impressive when you enter the hallway and that’s where the glamour stops. The room was spacious and clean. However, the safe was locked and it took them two days to bring someone in to open it for us. Oh, beware: in case you haven’t figured out how to charge your European phone and try to phone the reception for the adapter, let the man call them. I was quoted 7 dinars and my husband was quoted 5 dinars. Man discount,I guess... Location is far from great and not walk friendly. No public transportation ,so the taxi seems like the only option to get around this beautiful city.

"Not that much as a hotel"

6.0

in Summary, booked to stay for around one month in this hotel, the room wasn't clean when we checked in, there was rice on the floor as if someone ate it there, we for change and waited a long time before we were moved to another room, the next day we had a problem with the toilet and we asked for help and the receptionist was so rude saying that we are in a take it or leave it situation, so we checked out and went to another hotel, we were unhappy to do that, and our first experience, so I don't have much information about this hotel, maybe it was just my bad luck and the hotel is good, but that what happened I added that the visit was in June 2018 because this is the last option, but actually, it's a few months before that.

"Good hotel, clean and very nice staff"

8.0

I stayed at the Al Fanar Palace whilst on tour for 3 nights in Jordan. The staff were really friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast and dinner was tasty with plenty of variety and my room clean and comfortable! The hotel suited all my needs, highly recommended!

"A bit far from the center of town"

6.0

Not much to do in this part of the city. You need to take a cab to go to the center of town. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. If you stay for one night not to far from the airport it's OK.

"Here on a tour..."

6.0

As far as three stars go-especially in capital cities- it is okay. I had a friendly greeting at 3 am when I arrived. Got to sleep comfortably until a harpy rang early looking for payment. Hotel shows its age and chain lock is feebly attached to molding that falls off at slightest touch. A bit far from things. But staff are friendly and the buffet breakfast is very good- great foool. Sure wish the lovely terrace was non-smoking but too common here.
