Stratford House Inn and Suites Temple

Nice quiet place, owners are extremely awesome. Two warnings and then you're out on noise complaints and I'll tell you there wasn't a single complaint. This hotel to me is recommended they are number 4 out of 25 hotels near, I walk out the door and I see 14 more hotels this one being non franchise. Really good people and have the flexibility and understanding mindset.

This is a great place to stay if your serious about life, here its like family, and all the employees are like brothers and sisters, id like to recomend this place to everybody.ty sradford.. Home is where you lay your head

Just stayed the weekend here due to proximity of the hospital. This motel is just across the street from Scott and white. I price checked the other motels in the area and this one was half the cost of the other three motels nearby. I looked at a room before I got one and the room was newly painted and freshly cleaned. We stayed for two nights and would definitely stay again.

Convenient to all the restaurants nearby. Location is great, right across street from Baylor Scott & White Hospital. H-E-B and Walmart right down the street. Awesome service, housekeeping gives service every day. Maintenance is done timely. Customer service is great.

My wife and I have stayed in quite a few hotels over the years, but The Stratford House Inn and Suites in Temple Texas is our favorite hotel. The staff is friendly and take the time to get to know you, but are not nosey or rude. The rooms are nice and cozy. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. They are also very reasonably priced and are nicer than some more expensive hotels. We always are comfortable. Not only is it a great place to stay it's a safe place to stay. Which is another reason why The Stratford House is our favorite hotel.

Awesome service, Super clean and convenient room and amenities. Friendly staff, timely maintenance. Had a great experience overall. Rooms also have nice, good size kitchen. Location is great, in front of hospital, nice restaurant and grocery within minutes.

Just don’t waste your time. Rooms smell nasty. Beds are dirty. Towels and old and nasty. Guy at check in will let you know the pictures provided on the website are not true to what you purchase. The suite has the kitchen and couch and is an additional $15. I would expect to pay $45 for this room and that would be too much but appreciate.

Had a great night stay. Quite place. Updated rooms and lots of places to eat near by. Staff are great and professional. Recommend to everyone. Prices are very affordable as compared to other. Hospital is right across. This place is best in Temple.

The most unclean and pathetic hotel I have ever been to! Most arrogant staff! I got fooled by all the positive reviews on tripadvisor.com. Probably will prior managements, it might have been a good hotel, but not anymore. We were driving for hours and checked in at night ard 9 pm. Everyone was very tired already. When they gave us a room, we did not check the room, just took all baggage in. When we checked the room, we realized that room was very unclean. There were stains all over the table, chair and microwave turntable had liquid spilled all over that nobody even bothered to clean. I went to the reception and asked for room change. The owner was very arrogant. He asked me to first return the keys for old room and turn off all lights, fans and A/C in existing room, then he will give me new room key. Who does that? I was too tired to argue. I did the way he asked. The other room was okay okay. There were still unclean areas, but at least no spillage in the microwave. So we settled there. Then I realized that the heater in the room is not working. Outside temp was dropping below 45 F. I called reception and told about it. I was shocked by the answer he gave me. He simply said - "I dont know why the heater is not working, and I cannot to anything about it now, because we dont enter guest's room after 9." I told him that I have a little kid, she is shivering. How are we supposed to sleep in the cold? Simple answer again - "That I dont know. I cant do anything now. You already complained about the last room, I already gave you another room. I cannot keep on changing." How can such hotels be in the business? What kind of answer is this? Ridiculous, pathetic, frustrating etc. all words are very mild! This was way above all. We almost fought with the hotel management for 30 mins or so to convince them to give us a room with working heater. Is it guest's fault that a room is not clean? Is it guest's fault that the heater in the room is not working? After my trip I complained to my travel site about their poor service. They called the hotel management to request any kind of compensation / refund for the poor service I received. Well, this time I was not at all surprised with their answer. It was inline with their last arrogant behavior - "The guest has already used our services. No compensation / refund can be issued." I told my travel agent - more than compensation / refund, I would like to save others from this mental frustration. I really wish that this hotel gets unlisted from all the travel sites!

Newly renovated rooms with kitchen. The hotel is very convenient located right across from hospital and all restaurants are right down the street. Grocery store is right down the street as well. Staff is amazing. They are very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. I think this hotel is most underrated hotel in Temple.
