"Wonderful cozy place"

Lovely place staff extremely friendly and welcoming room amazing would stay again

Arrive Sunday evening and no longer did food which I was unaware of, however they did make me soup and sandwich but was craving a Sunday roast which I think would of been amazing there, I’ll arrive earlier next time if possible

We had a fantastic stay at The Marquis of Granby, just my wife and I enjoying a much-needed break. Everything about our visit was excellent, the food was outstanding, the accommodation was comfortable and beautifully kept, and the hospitality was genuinely warm and welcoming. The staff were brilliant throughout our stay, with a special mention to Sam, who went above and beyond to make our experience truly memorable. His attention to detail, friendliness, and professionalism made a real difference and added a personal touch that didn’t go unnoticed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing break with great food and exceptional service

Fantastic food, service and beautiful rooms. Exceptional value for money included breakfast to go as we were catching an early morning ferry from Dover. 15 minutes by car to ferry port. Will go back next time 👍

Really nice staff Izzy and Ella were really friendly and helpful. Nicely kitted out rooms all round. Handy for Dover ferry.

Bed was a bit small and wasn't sure why the sinks were in the middle of the room.

"A very comfortable stay in a nice location with great breakfast"

Liked the individuality of the room design and nice view over the valley. Good breakfast with attentive service.

Unfortunately we could clearly hear the sound of voices coming up from the restaurant below. Also the single glazing not sufficient to stifle the sound of passing traffic. Slight draft also noticeable from the sash windows.
