The Marquis of Granby

Auf unserem letzten Halt vor der Fähre nach Calais haben wir hier übernachtet. Schade, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten. Das Zimmer war klein aber sehr gemütlich, sauber und ausreichend. Das Essen hervorragend, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Alles sehr authentisch und zum Wohlfühlen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Nice comfortable bed.

No bath salts or bubble bath for the bath that was a huge feature of the room. The lighting in the room was also poor - either all lights on or off! The bathroom area floor was freezing. There was a heated floor but this did not work. The room had a huge number of cushions that had no where to be put. We felt the room was designed by someone who had never spent the night in it. The double sinks in the room were a strange design feature. The room was extremely expensive for what it is compared to other Kent pub rooms of a similar level.
