Elena Guesthouse

Perfect location right near the fab hiking trail that goes up to two of the monasteries. Elena was wonderful, giving us very good advice about seeing the monasteries, and her freshly baked spinach pies, delicious, bougatsa, excellent coffee, fresh fruits, eggs, and much more made a great breakfast. The charming room with a terrace had the best view! We had a great three nights.

We liked everything about it except that we had to leave.

Beautiful place, very cozy, perfectly located. The bed is so comfortable and there was even a hot tub in the bathroom!

Wonderful heritage property, with beautiful period furnishings. You enter into a shared living room area. Our “superior double room with view of the Meteora formations”was elegant and large. There was a walk-out balcony (second floor). There was a lovely period fireplace—plaster exterior to match the rooms furnishings and ambience. It features a frescoed floral design—not sure if it is a working fireplace—but whatever—it’s the centerpiece of a lovely large bedroom. The bedding and mattress, pillows are of excellent quality, contributing to a great sleep. Bathroom is reasonable size to access comfortably. The shower is spa type with different controls for directing jets of water to help sore muscles- Toiletries are generous and of very good quality. Towels are generously-sized and of quality

Nothing. I would have loved a longer stay. The ambience is wonderful!
