Kibbutz Inbar Country Lodging

Gorgeous area and very relaxing place. It's a unique place, and we were charmed by the dairy cows wandering on to the road. But don't expect any kind of luxury.

The accommodation was comfortable and spacious in a country setting. The breakfast was plentiful, tasty and fresh. The staff was very helpful.

This is a kibbutz guest house. It is very simple, but provides comfortable lodging for up to 5 family members. The beds are small and narrow. The room and bathroom could have been cleaner. There is no television in the room.

It was a great place for the price paid. Very friendly people and a country atmosphere with a great location. The rooms are simple and not well lit or sound proofed. Breakfast fare is okay for a few days.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. It is a small Kibbutz setup so guests need to know what they are getting into. The facilities and rooms are simple, basic, and practical. The area is tucked away amongst some agricultural fields. You will get a sense of what it is like to live in the countryside of the Galilee region of Israel. A good place to get away from the bustle of cities yet still be within reach of the key sites within this region.

We spent 4 nights here. The first 2 were very noisy due to some families staying with very noisy children who stayed up late at night. Although their rooms were not near our room the children insisted on playing loudly outside our room till late at night. We are family people too, but felt that they should have been a bit more sensitive. The room had 2X single beds pushed together to make a double and thus the fitted sheet kept coming off the beds. The room was very sparse and had no tv. The outside fridge wasn't very clean. In spite of these facts we still enjoyed our time there and would stay again if returning.

My biggest issue with this nice budget hotel is the registration process. Some things that should be listed upfront are not, and may be misleading. This has caused me to pay for the hotel 75% more than the price in Expedia indicated. Mainly - if you are Israeli note that the price does not include VAT (17%). Furthermore, though the description of the double room says a cot or small bed for children can be added, actually they then tell you that you will have to pay for a triple room (which is identical in every way to a double room, but more expensive). And you cannot argue or do anything - and the stay is non-refundable (not even as an option). So it is a trap of a cheap and dirty kind. Other than that - it is very nice, in a quiet place, quite clean and pleasant, not fancy in any way, comfortable enough, but with some minor quirks that could have and should have been improved.
