Just back from a 4 night break . I cannot fault the hotel for its cleanliness, the staff are friendly the cleaners we had spoke english and was so friendly. We were on the top floor of the hotel and the views are amazing. The hotel is so central to everything. The drinks were great for us except the coffee but we just went and bought a wee jar of nescafe. The only thing that let it down for us was the food. The breakfast are OK and we never struggled .lunch there was always bread n made a sandwich but for dinner they was very little that we could eat. Did go out to eat but for the price we paid we didn't mind. Im not a person that likes to pay cheap and get 5 * food and we are not fussy at all .

We have just returned from one week at Gran Playa and cannot understand some of the negative comments on here. We were in a junior suite which was excellent. The cleaner was in everyday and if you left your towels in the shower these were changed daily. All of the public spaces in the hotel were kept clean also. We thought that the food was very good with a good choice everyday. Always a really nice soup, loads of different salads and plenty of hot dishes to choose from. Desserts were also good with an ice cream machine. The all inclusive drinks were excellent . We thought the euro charge for the cup was a really good idea as there were no glasses left lying about the pool and bar area. Staff were friendly and the entertainment team tried to get everyone involved. We really enjoyed our week here and would definitely return.

Nice place , good entertainment

Truly don't bother I have read the reviews and I don't understand them to be honest. We are usually easy like a Sunday morning but the only decent thing about the place is breakfast. I wouldn't waste any money going anything higher. Drinks stop at 23:00, ice cream isn't included, snack bar is cheese, lettuce chips onion rings and whatever wasn't eaten at breakfast. I asked for the hot items to be replaced 11x and they just didn't do it. I had to make an official complaint how degrading. We had a lovely beach day and skipped lunch but got snacks at a shop then thought the couple hours between snack and dinner we could have at the snack bar, huge mistake. Make sure you are down with towels ASAP cos the rules aren't enforced for the beds. They are taken but no one actually goes down til about 2. Pool is 10-6. We aren't drinkers but cocktails aren't included. there are probably better places to stay than this.

Beautiful clean hotel nice food and drinks amazing views from the balcony and walkways , the staff were absolutely on it! From dining to entertainment can't fault them, lovely friendly young lady when booking in super helpful.
