The Glacier Hotel (ex Eurotel Victoria)

In general, everything at the hotel met our expectations, and there were no major negative points. We were very comfortable throughout our stay. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was excellent, being so close to the télécabine station.

There was nothing we particularly disliked, but we do have a few suggestions for improvement. At breakfast, the hot water for English tea was not ready when the restaurant opened. The quality of the scrambled eggs was also inconsistent; on one day, they were overcooked and tasted different. It also seemed that both chipolatas and bacon were supposed to be available, as there were two serving plates. However, only bacon was offered at first. After waiting for a while, a second batch of bacon—prepared better—was brought out. We were not sure why this happened.

1. The meals arrive way too late, taking an excessively long time. 2. One day, they forgot to serve one of the dishes we had requested. 3. The breakfast options are extremely limited and monotonous, with the same dishes every day. 4. The room was never cleaned properly, and even after a five-day stay, the sheets were not changed. 5. The room rates are much cheaper at other sites, and we paid 600 CHF more. I complained to the staff, but they said I had to search carefully and that was it.

Check in process was slow and messy!

L’accueil est chaleureux et le personnel toujours prêt à rendre service. Espace sauna et piscine très agréable. Localisation parfaite pour profiter des sentiers de randonnée ou de VTT. C’était parfait !

Un détail : l’oreiller était un peu usé - mou.
