The hotel is charming. Easy walk to beach, easy walk to train station and delicious breakfast.

Good place good hotel.

We had a great welcome to Hotel Smart. The building is so clean inside and the decor is consistent and lovely. Our room was immaculate. The breakfast was just lovely. The gardens are beautiful, and the pool inviting. The neighborhood is a bit hilly, but very nice, and theres lots of restaurants quite close by. I loved the embroidery on the pillowcases and towels. We recommend this hotel. Thank you Hotel Smart.

You just can NOT beat the price for location with this one! The train to Cascais or Lisbon as well as the beach/boardwalk with numerous seaside restaurants are just a five minute walk as well a little supermarket close by... Only negative, the lady at breakfast was not very friendly which seemed to be the topic of conversation among several of us in the breakfast room each of the four days I stayed... however, most of the staff is very friendly and helpful and it’s such a nice little hotel, very clean, great atmosphere inside and the surrounding hillside! I consider it a great find and will stay here on future trips!

The hotel is in a traditional Portuguese house and the room is really comfortable, with a lot of space and really clean. It’s 8 minutes walking from the beach (praia da poça) and it has a really nice pool. The breakfast was only ok - it didn’t have a lot of variety but it was good enough to start the day. We found some of the hotel staff quite rude - specially the lady from the breakfast, and another guy seemed to be always paying attention on what you’re doing. The staff during the night was lovely though. They have a curfew - you cannot come back after 2am. It wasn’t our case but it doesn’t seem to be something fair.

Lovely pretty, family run hotel, 5 mins walk from local beach . Close to Estoril and walking distance to Cascais.

Overall, this is a good place. But the check-in was quite fussy, several things didn't work, including wake-up calls, and we discovered that if a guest arrives after 2 am, they have to wait until 6 am until the hotel agrees to let them in. All in all, good value for money. Very nice rooms. Location is in a neighborhood a few blocks away from main city.

A lovely well run Hotel, we liked it because it was small, very clean and all staff were very friendly. Would definitely go back when in the area.

We had a nice partial view of the water. Room was very clean and adequate. Walk to the train station into Lisbon. Some of the staff could afford to be a little more pleasant to their guests. Very quaint small hotel. Overall it was a nice place to stay.
