Hotel Ocho

The location was fantastic! Just off Queen St. W, close to Kensington markets and a short street car ride to Union Station. The bathroom has been updated and the shower was lovely.

The furnishings and carpet seem a little rundown. There was a wedding happening the night I was there and the restaurant was not open as a result. The check in desk for the hotel is awkwardly located at the far side of the restaurant, so I had to walk through the assembling wedding guests with my luggage in order to check in. I then had to access the hotel via a side door and 3 flights of stairs when coming and going that evening.

Very nice room, great design and a good bed, the value for money is spot on

A bit old ( they have a physical key , the elevator is tired) but my room was nicely renovated

The Asian staff was very friendly and helpful. She smiles a lot. The others not much smile especially the Indian uncle.

Air conditioning was too old and noisy!!

Very nice place and accommodations. Was not too big and well located.

The building could use better mechanical systems and ventilation. Did not like that I could not open the window to air out the room.
