"Great location. Bad wifi (or slow to fix it)"

6.0

Couldn't connect to wifi for one day. Had to remind them multiple time to fix it. In general the hotel is OK but doesn't feel like what a 5 star should look like to me. Great great location though

"Cozy Boutique Hotel in the middle of Downtown"

10.0

Le patio is a extremely nice hotel placed in the middle of Downtown, detailed care service, well managed, and with the small luxury of a Boutique Hotel. Special mention to Mr. Roland on the top of the whole Operations, Reception Mohamad and Hasan, best service from Mira, Ali and the top chef Anis! Perfect to stay in Downtown with all the confort and luxury!

"Outstanding service"

10.0

Aside from its perfect location and cosiness, the staff at le patio are unmatchable. Genuine, helpful and professional. I’ve been to many places all around the world, yet I’ve never felt this feeling anywhere. They make you feel you are at home. Bravo le patio! Keep it up. Million thanks to the whole staff specially Lamis, Nadine, mohamed, aly, hassan and everyone. Guys you are the best.

"Great location"

8.0

Le Patio is right in Downtown and excellently positioned for those who like to walk and explore downtown and neighbouring areas. A stone throw away from Beirut's most popular hotels, Le Grey, and some 5-10 minutes from Four Season's and Zaitunay Bay, you are in good neighbourhoods. Rooms are of good size and decent interiors. High ceilings and large windows are a mark. Decent small breakfast, but probably nicer to explore one of the many places around. Enjoy your trip to Beirut.

"Great location & nice hospitality"

10.0

The hotel's location is great and near Beirut Souks where you can enjoy shopping and eat in nice restaurants and you don't even have to take a car. Welcoming was excellent and I want to thank Lamis at the reception. She did her best to make us comfortable. Breakfast fits to a boutique hotel. Room size was good but needs more light. I think it is a little bit dark. I would recommend this hotel

"Good"

2.0

When we booked through Expedia, the total was $160 per night. We entered our credit card info, and received an email that said ‘the Total payment was collected by the hotel.’ On the last day of our stay, we went to check out, and I’ll spare you the details of the stay), we were told we needed to provide payment for $210.25 per night. It was 3am, and our cab was waiting to take us to the airport. We told the concierge that we already paid, and that we could NOT miss our flight (OR stay another day in that hotel or city). He said that he would call the police if we tried leaving without payment. Again, as far as Expedia told us, we had already paid in full. The trip was so awful, and having the hotel staff that we couldn’t leave until we came up with over 2,000?!?! I did not have the cc with me that I used to book the stay. We were forced to make phone calls etc to come up with the payment in order to make our flight. This is the point: when I booked through Expedia, it was advertised as $160 per night. When we were checking out of the hotel, it was suddenly WELL OVER $200 per night. False advertising, and a terrible experience.

"Pay attention to all reviews"

2.0

Every hotel gains or loses points based on your experience. Certainly, the ‘Patio’ gains for location and being clean. The gym is very tight (one person at a time for weights) and breakfast tasty but limited. Of more concern is that the AC after four days had the room to +24C, and it was the same in all rooms. The major concern? Even with noise cancelling headphones there is no room in the building that escapes the pounding of the clubs that surround the hotel till 0100 ALL week. Some staff try to help but if you choose to stay here, and there are other options for this price, only take a room in the upper levels ending in ‘01’ or ‘02’. Oh, and roads to the hotel stop a block away so Uber keeps getting lost.

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!"

2.0

The hotel itself is not bad (rooms and staff are ok) the problem is that the building is surrounded by night clubs playing music until very late (like 2/3 am) so it’s basically not possible to sleep. I found it very unacceptable because prices are high so I expected a certain kind of service. Is it a Hotel a place where you cannot sleep? No it’s not. So, Beirut has plenty of places where you can stay, my suggestion is to stay away from this one. A really, really bad experience

"A little tired around the edges"

6.0

Firstly there's not a huge choice of decent accommodation in Beirut so for the region, prices are high. The Patio sells itself as a boutique hotel but its really not. Its in a retail area- very high end- Chanel, Vivienne Westwood etc are next door so the area doesn't feel very atmospheric although its safe and fairly central. There's a few bars around and one outside the reception which get quite busy. We had a room at the back so no noise issue. There's also a great open air restaurant around the corner that served great food an had live music. Our room was classified as a suite but it did feel a bit dated- old fashioned furniture and cranky aircon. Bathroom was heavy on the faux marble and the shower broke first night- but was replaced quickly. Staff were friendly enough but not really forthcoming with suggestions or assistance- no concierge although we only had hand luggage so weren't bothered. Breakfast was a let down- small room with very limited choice for a hotel at this pricepoint. The plus was the small roof top pool which was a nice place to relax. Beirut was a wonderful city break and I think the Patio would be an ok choice. However if you can stretch the budget look at Le Gray nearby. We went for drinks and tapas on the rooftop bar and its stunning.
