A lovely hotel, well maintained and very clean. Very helpful and friendly staff, and a short walk from shops, bars and restaurants.

Had the essentials required for an overnight stay

Our double bed was two single beds pushed together, using entirely different mattresses. One side was very firm and uncomfortable, and the other was just right. Only one of us was comfortable enough to fall asleep and stay mostly asleep. Our room also got extremely hot during the night, which woke us both up even more, and there was nothing we could do about it unless we wanted to catch a cold instead by opening windows in the middle of winter. The shower bath was only somewhat functional as a light shower. The water pressure was terribly slow, it didn't get hot (only warm enough), and we were unable to use it as a bath because there was a massive hole where we should've been able to seal it.

Comfortable, clean spacious rooms, 10 minutes from the centre of Harrogate and great value for money. 100% recommend!

Period property well maintained, nice garden. Good breakfast.

Car parking was limited, very tight spaces. Would have been nice to have the restaurant open for evening meals, however, there are plenty of restaurants in Harrogate so it wasn’t a problem.
