Il Gattopardo House

I loved everything about this place. The gentleman who ran the hotel. He was extremely gracious and allowed us the flexibility of having our morning coffee as well as having a ton of good food. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great location just off Via Etnea on a quiet side road. Reception up 2 floors, my room was on the first. Really friendly owners, room was comfortable and with modern fittings, good shower and aircon. Free water in the fridge is a nice touch. Breakfast was very good, excellent espresso, and the breakfast room is amazing! Overall I'd recommend this place highly for all the reasons above, and I'll definitely come back if I'm in Catania again (which is a fascinating city, go there!)

Maybe a sign saying reception is 2nd floor, but maybe I didn't see it !

Doskonała lokalizacja w zabytkowej kamienicy Pyszne cornetto na sniadanie. Sympatyczny, uczynny i pomocny gospodarz Gaetano. Pokój jest codziennie sprzątany. Pokój przestronny. 10 minut spacerem do dworca, blisko metra i przystanków autobusowych/. Przy głównej ulicy Via Etnea. Grazie per tutto Gaetano :-)

Tout. L'accueil, la gentillesse du personnel, leur serviabilité. L'emplacement, au coeur de la ville. La décoration aristocrate, la taille de la chambre. Le petit déjeuner présente un large choix. Il y a pour tous les goûts. Le petit bar très pratique quand on arrive tard. Thé à disposition. N"hésitez pas.

Great location and it is a beautiful palace. The staff is very kind and helpful. There was a parking arrangement that helped us a lot with the car. The breakfast is very very good. fresh croissants with variety and freshly made coffee. The dining rool is very beautiful as well. Our room is was also quite big and beautiful.

We stayed at a room with private external bathroom, and the bathroom smelled of mold and it was very uncomfortable. The towels were also dried in a moldy area and smelled very bad. The parking was communicated to us when we came for check in, even though we wrote a message and a mail beforehand to find out, which meant coming to hotel going to somewhere else and coming back to the hotel again after tiring driving. All these aside, the staff did everything they could to accommodate us and were very kind and nice.
