Clare Valley Cabins

Short drive to the golf course and town.

Slightly overpriced. Cabin needs an update.

Great cosy little cabin with all the mod cons. Loved the little things that made each cottage unique based on their name. Gumnuts Cottage had cute Gumnut Characters everywhere. When we had a small problem the owner was quick to fix unit up swiftly.

Our stay in Gumnut Cottage was relaxing and comfortable. The cottages are well-appointed and sufficiently separated from others to ensure privacy and a sense of connection with the bush surroundings. The cottages are a few km from Clare but it is an easy few minutes drive to all the town conveniences. Booking was easy and Maggie ensured that our stay was pleasurable and hassle-free.

Every requirement (kitchen appliances, AC) was catered for. It was warm despite the lower temperatures at night.

It was very outdated. The decor was old fashioned. There was a steep rutted dirt road to the cabin. The TV channels were unreliable with static.

The homely feel about the cabins were the top part of our stay. It made everything feel warm and comfortable especially during the colder nights which was great. The statement fireplace worked a charm for us, as did the bonfire outside. Nice and accessible into the Town Centre with plenty of other activities to do nearby. It was a really great stay.

The seperate cabins made it feel secluded and private, loved the fire making facilities inside and out very cosy.

Dog hair all over the rug, there was a lot.
