Bed & Breakfast La Clé du Sud

Zeer goed verzorgde B&B, goede ontvangst en prima kamer. Uitgebreid ontbijt buffet met persoonlijke aandacht van de eigenaar. B&B ligt op 20 minuten van Gent, dus rust gegarrandeerd. Al met al een aanrader.

Very quiet, warmly welcomimg host, wonderful garden. It was a memotable experience to stay two night.

The B&B is a nice house. We stayed in a room in the house, there is a Garden house you can rent, too. Our room was nice and clean, came with a tv / dvd player and had a few dvd's in the room for us to use. The bathroom was nice size with a shower only. The owners have handmade chocolates to buy, they give you a sample :) There is also some unique jewelry available for purchase. The breakfast had an assortment of food and they will make you an egg if you like. Over all we were very happy with our stay.

We were both very impressed with the bed and breakfasts. Thomas has the whole home set up for his business, maps, fire alarm system, park like yard and very clean. He offers and as many local drinks as well has hand made chocolates. We both enjoyed our stay and breakfast Well done Thomas

Great place. Super charming accommodations just outside of Ghent. Wonderful host and clean room. Great breakfast and the host also makes and sells very good Belgian chocolate for a very reasonable price. We would stay there again for sure.

Both Sleeping and having breakfast were as expected. Our room was independent from the main house, very comfortable and warm. Kitchenette with everything needed and fridge filled with great wines and local beers!! Delicious breakfast served every morning and wonderful staff. Sure to stay here again!!

This B&B is set in a quiet location a short drive or cycle ride from the A444. We had received an email several days before enquiring about our expected arrival time and we're welcomed by Thomas who, fortunately for us, spoke fluent English. We were staying only one night and Thomas recommended an excellent family-run restaurant 3 or for minutes drive away on the A444, which is by no means a busy road on a Saturday evening. Our room was large enough and the bed was firm and very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower powerful - very useful if you have long hair like me! Coffee and tea making facilities are available in the rooms and there is and you can choose a free alcoholic or non-alcoholic cold drink. The breakfast was a delicious selection of breads, cheese and cold meat, fruit, yoghurt, jams and optional eggs & and bacon. I am vegetarian and was catered for well both at the B&B and the local restaurant. We will definitely stay again if we are passing the area and it is well worth the short drive off the E40 near Gwent. There is car parking available in front of the house and there were 5 cars parked, including ours, during our stay. We weren't surprised that Thomas reported that they were fully booked! We highly recommend staying here to explore the area or to break your longer journey.

We had a very nice and tranquil one-night stay in the garden house, enjoyed reasonably priced Belgian beers and a superb breakfast.

Little bit out of the way and not easy to find but comfortable and quiet. Host was nice and breakfast was good.
