​Ban's is a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the diving experience was fantastic and the instructors are amazing. The rooms are also good - clean, comfortable, with strong AC, and they actually look better in person than in the photos. Daily housekeeping was excellent, hot water works (just takes a minute), and the free pier shuttle is super convenient. Location-wise, you are a 1-minute walk from the beach and within walking distance to everything on Sairee.

It gets very noisy at night because of the party scene. Also, note that the resort isn't strictly beachfront (just very close), and because it's built on a hill, you need to be careful which room you book or you'll be walking up a massive incline. Finally, skip the breakfast - it really isn't good, especially with so many incredible cafes just down the street.

Room is a basic hotel room. Breakfast was a good variety of food options but nothing for people w/food allergies such as gluten. Location of our room was good. Close to the main shopping & restaurants for dinning options.

I booked a room close to the beach but at check in the staff at first took it upon themselves to want to put us up on the hill after seeing our age saying oh it is quieter up there. It felt a bit discriminatory to me. We were staying 2 weeks plus dives. Lot of misquotes so bring your bug spray if you plan on sitting on your patio area.

Beautiful location easy to get to all the restaurants bars beaches etc depending on where on the resort your room is. But easily you can go party go to a restaurant then request a golf cart to take you back to your room. Pool was great. Everything was great

Resorts really big so it can be a bit overwhelming. They have golf cart services which are great and convenient. But depending on where you are it would require you to get a golf cart down to the main area to get breakfast then golf cart back up to your room. Still great but can be a bit much since you cant order food or walk to get some food.
