Cher Resort

The room was very nice and large and included all the accessories (including a safe). We had a partial-sea-view room and did like the partial view. The small beach in front of the property was quiet. The pool location was good. Staff was friendly.

With such a nice room with a big sliding door onto a balcony, why, oh why, did they not include screen doors? As it was there was a pleasant sea breeze, we would have enjoyed, but we had to keep the doors shut and run the AC all night, due to mosquitoes. I almost would not include these next two items, but realized they are part of the property experience: The evening restaurant service was slow, and the food, American or Thai, was poor. I would not mind that it was expensive if the food and service were good. The location overlooking the ocean was good. The pizza I ordered took 45 minutes, and consisted of too much sauce - BBQ sauce of all things - on a thin crust, with cheese, and a little bit of the salmon topping I ordered. But I could not taste the salmon over their BBQ sauce. My Thai partner said the Thai food was not good, which is pretty strong language coming from a Thai woman. The breakfast restaurant - at a different location- was pretty good. I rented a motorbike through the property. They said there was one left. It was a beater, and while I was grateful helmets were offered, they were disgustingly filthy, and we borrowed wash clothes from the hotel to line them.

Good location. Staff very polite and helpful. We also used the bicycles offered without charge. Recommend you catch the sunrise on the beach in the morning. Food is great.

Pent og hyggelig lite hotell, litt i ødemarka. Nydelig utsikt fra bassengområdet og stranda. Blid og trivelig betjening på alle nivå. Gjorde sitt beste for å hjelpe til med alt vi spurte om.

Very nice beach front Boutique Hotel. Peaceful place and warm welcome start from parking lot till front desk. I like it a lot. We will come back next time for sure.
