Staff very friendly and accommodating

Parking..not fit for purpose however alternative offered down the road was ok. Menu advertised on wall outside was not Menu on offer which was disappointing. Staff made incorrect cocktail mix but that was fixed quickly. Window was broken in our room but was quickly attended to. Got room with view but two flights of stairs with no lift was a challenge

The facilities are showing some sign of wear and tear Parking was also an issue but not impossible

Big bedroom, big bathroom (with 2 windows !) and a big bed. Balcony was great but weather not so great. Breakfast was superb, the choice fantastic, real kippers, eggs benedict and all the usual standards, all cooked to perfection. Hot water almost instant and unlimited. The location is fine for restaurants and for walking in a very scenic area. Very friendly staff. We would stay there again.

Try as I might nothing springs to mind and petty nit-picking would not be appropriate. Shame about the weather; mid July and little sun

Great choice of breakfasts, quality food and excellent service. Location was close to both beach and the town centre

Breakfast was excellent, even when the chef didn’t turn up one morning, location great. Room was very comfortable, lovely bath and shower.

My only criticism was that the lighting in the bathroom wasn’t great for putting on make- up!

Staff and food were excellent and room had a wonderful view

Ventnor itself is somewhat rundown like many seaside resorts and it was very hard to find somewhere good to eat when we arrived as the hotel restaurant was closed that night along with many other eating places in the town.
