Hampton Inn Portland Downtown Waterfront

Friendly, clean, great location

Portland parking is expensive and the hotel's on-site parking offers no break in that cost for its guests. The indoor pool was open and newly updated but the water was quite cold and very milky (needing heat and filtration)

I had a very nice one night stay at this hotel. The hotel was beautiful. Breakfast was even better however, after leaving, I noticed they had left a pair of jogging type pants quite expensive in the room on the bed. I called the hotel left a message as they requested and got no return. I called again the next day and got no return so I called the front desk. Left a message and finally someone called and said no item has been found very disappointed and know exactly where I left the item and can not believe that it was not found. I sincerely hope that the manager will get involved and find out who took this blue pair of sweatpants with white stripe down aside so I can write a better review. Very disappointed.

Parking is too expensive

Good location for what I wanted to do, however the hotel needs to be more clean including the room I was staying.

Easy to navigate. Friendly staff and valet. Not a speck of dust anywhere in the room. Very spacious. Super clean shower. Plenty of toiletries. Location was everything and you can walk to many locations in downtown.

All breakfast options were gone by 8am with no clear time frame when it gets restocked with more food. From what I saw when it was available, not too much that I would want to eat. Seemingly no need for a valet system when its a non covered lot.
