Quiet and natural environment

Lovely little cottage on a beautiful quiet property! We didn’t want to leave. We especially loved the 3 dogs!

The owner was super friendly and welcoming, he made us feel so welcome. The open fire was so warm and cosy, plenty if firewood. We were provided with ingredients for breakfast during our stay.i hope to return some day.

When it was time to leave

Breakfast provisions were great - eggs, bacon, bread, butter, spreads, juice, cereals. There were also heaps of condiments and coffee/tea. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked with all requirements. Beds and living room furniture were all comfortable. The property was very clean. Our unit was one of about 5 on the property but was private except for the sheep and all as in the next paddock. We did receive a few visits from the property owner’s canines who even accompanied us on an early morning walk.

Nothing comes to mind - this was a great property!

The cottage was peaceful, the beds comfortable and the farm/rural setting was delightful.We appreciated the efficient wood heater on a couple of chilly nights.

Considering that the accommodation is billed as 'luxury' some of the kitchen equipment eg frypans and cutlery needs replacing.

Truly a magical stay, the house was equipped perfectly, with extra touches clear the owners really want to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Relaxing and good fun with the land and animals.

It was our favourite place of our trip.

In diesem wunderschönen historischen Haus mit entsprechend stilvoller und bequemer Einrichtung fühlten wir uns sofort zuhause. Die ruhige Lage, der schöne bunte Blumengarten, die gepflegten Hecken und die Weide mit den Schafen und Alpakas sind für jeden Naturfreund ein Paradies. Perhaps a little guide/instruction on how to get the induction stove top going. We did figure it out after a little while.
