This hotel is such a little peaceful gem! Small, cosy and incredibly calm. Honestly, from the moment we arrived, everything just felt relaxing. The colours in the room give that perfect warm beach feeling, and the whole property has such a quiet and comforting atmosphere. The garden is beautiful and very well looked after, and the pool area facing the beach is just lovely and peaceful. We also enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets from the pool area overlooking the beach, truly one of our favourite moments there! The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or bar, but the rooms have the essentials for preparing simple meals/snacks, and there are a few options nearby, including a restaurant right next door. It’s also very easy to move around by public transport, with two bus stops very close to the hotel, and getting to La Croisette mall by bus was super easy. But truly, the most special thing about this place is the staff!! This was the very first hotel we stayed at after arriving in Mauritius, on a Sunday night, exhausted and extremely hungry after travelling. Unfortunately, almost everything was already closed, but the ladies at the hotel front desk still tried so hard to help us, calling different restaurants to see if there was anywhere we could still eat. Even though they couldn’t find anything open, they ended up doing one of the kindest things anyone did for us during our whole trip: they gave us baguette, eggs and bananas so we could at least have something to eat before going to sleep. We felt genuinely cared for, welcomed and looked after. That moment honestly stayed in our hearts for the rest of the trip!

A small thing that could definitely be improved is that the room doors and windows don’t have mosquito nets. Because of all the greenery around the hotel, there are quite a lot of insects at night, so we couldn’t really leave the windows open.

A személyzet nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt elejétől a végéig. A medencés része is remek a szállásnak.

A reggeliben sajnos szinte semmi változatosság nincs, egyébként az ágyba hozott reggeli ötlete tetszett nekünk, viszont a 4. napra már kevésbé vártuk, hogy kopogtassanak az ajtónkon.

The welcome at the hotel was very warm and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. As we arrived before check in time, it was not a problem to get changed and wait at the pool till the room was ready. The room itself was clean and spacious. The whole facilities are neat and well taken care off. We never had an issue getting a sunbed at the pool side. Walking distance to the beach from the property. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot and recommend it!

We were in one of the front rooms (close to the road), if you have a light sleep, we recommend ear plugs. Would be nice to have a complimentary coffee capsul per day per person and not be charged for it.

Everything was great!! Perfect location with beach view, clean and tidy rooms with balcony, helpful staff and availability of bikes and cars for renting along with travel desk assistance.

Los apartamentos son pequeños, pero nuevos y el complejo está muy bien cuidado y mantenido. Es muy bueno tener una pequeña cocina. Sabanas excelentes, cama comoda, linda vista al mar. había visto en internet que no tiene playa, solo tiene piedras, pero pensé que igual entre las piedras uno podía meterse en el agua, pero no, el agua era muy turbia en esa zona, la playa mas cercana es Mon Choisy, y es linda, no masificada como Trou aux Biches.

Si no tienes auto, esta muy lejos de todo, no hay supermercados ni restaurantes cerca. Al menos la ventana del baño debería tener mosquitero para poder dejarla abierta. Los muebles son todos de ratan, incómodos los apoya brazos.

Mon Choisy ligt in het noorden van Mauritius. Prima locatie, authentieke dorpjes in de omgeving en genoeg supermarkten om inkopen te kunnen doen. Verse stokbrood, geweldige koffie - erg lekker bij Chez Popo! Grand Baie is een grote dorp (op 5 minuten rijden van Mon Choisy) waardoor je het échte Mauritius kunt zien en ervaren. Port Louis is op 25 minuten rijden van Mon Choisy en prima te doen. Wij hadden 3 studio's gehuurd. Prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding - nette kamers met airco en faciliteiten. Goed bereikbaar vanaf airport. Grand Baie heeft ook een vismarkt waar verse vis kan worden aangekocht. Het compex had ook een wasmachine droger wat erg fijn was om de was te fixen. 24/7 beveiliging en bijna gehele dag is de receptie open. Erg vriendelijk personeel.

Nadeel is dat authentieke restaurantjes in Grand Baie om 14:00 uur al dicht zijn. Er is geen rekening gehouden met geluidsoverlast van buren bij de bouw van het pand. Vanaf de balkon wordt er direct geluid ervaren van onder/boven/zij buren. Je kan niet rustig een gesprekje voeren of muziek (box) aandoen of anderen hebben er al last van. Het bed was primitief - ging bij ons wel ten koste van nachtrust. Koelkast vriezer werkte in geen 1 van de appartementen waardoor ijsjes zijn gesmolten. In 1 van de appartementen was er zelfs geen warm water - de onderhouds monteur moest aan te pas komen. Zwembad en beach van het resort zijn simpel te noemen.

Le personnel accueillant, la chambre était clean chaque jour, le petit déjeuner parfait et la vue magnifique avec la piscine et la mer.
