Villas de Jardin self-catering

The balcony was to die for. Stunning view of the sea. We had a relaxing and very nice time at the villa. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were huge and beautiful.

The villas are located up high in the hill which makes it a bit difficult to reach the beach. Its also away from majority of attractions and restaurants.

After a polished stay at Constance Mahé, we traded turndown service for tropical independence with six nights at Villas de Jardin in Port Glaud—and we weren’t disappointed. Nestled in lush hills with sweeping views of the bay, our Villa #1 served as a peaceful, private retreat with just the right balance of comfort and autonomy. The villa is spacious and well-equipped for self-catering, though you'll want to plan grocery runs wisely—this isn’t exactly next door to a Carrefour. Still, once stocked, the kitchen handles everything from morning eggs to sunset apéros. And speaking of sunsets: the view from our terrace was easily worth a few minor logistical compromises. The pool is small but elegant—ideal for a refreshing dip after a beach outing or simply lounging with a book in hand. No crowds, no noise, no competing for sunbeds: a rare Seychelles luxury in itself. While it doesn’t compete with a 5-star hotel on service or dining, that’s not the point. Villas de Jardin offers something rarer: space, peace, and the feeling of actually living in paradise for a while—not just visiting it. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone who appreciates independence with a view.

Great location and large rooms. Ulrike was excellent and looked after us very well.

Magic view ! Fresh villa ( nr 6 ) close to the pool, magnificent amazing terrace, not at the top but then not so far to climb :) when coming home from restaurants ! Lovely Rieke, always with a smile fixing everything ! The cutest dogs down at the reception ! Also great contacts with drivers - the one we had both to the villas and to our next place were very friendly !

We stayed in a lovely two bedroom villa with an amazing ocean view, exactly as per the photo on Booking. The house was clean, well equipped, with modern and useful facilities and equipment. The team was helpful and responsive. The only thing we did not appreciate was the level of security of the property and the safety of the guests. The villas are quite secluded, embedded on a hill covered with beautiful and quite thick vegetation, and there is no physical barrier for anyone to be able to access the villa garden or the balcony. Lately, theft levels in the Seychelles have been increasing, as a consequence of a rising drug addiction problem among the local population. The villas management clearly informed us that we need to lock the house and turn on the security system when we are out and as well at night while we are inside sleeping. Taking precautions is always a good things, we did not mind and readily followed the instructions, however the problem for us came when we realized that: 1. The house security alarm system is not in fact connected to anybody - not the police, not a security company, so basically, burglars can come, the alarm will sound, if someone hears it and comes to help - good, if not, we are on our own. 2. There is nobody around - the reception is only populated a few hours during the day, and the rest of the time there is nobody around - no security guard on duty or at least someone who can hear if the alarm sounds and call the police. Indeed, we were instructed how to lock and turn the alarm on, and we were given the number of the local police department, yet I did not feel safe, particularly at night, while us and the kids were sleeping in the house, thinking that someone can break in…

Very clean property and a lot of space, all the necessary facilities were provided. Very nice ocean view.

The view from our balcony was amazing, the bed was comfortable and overall house was really nice. They clean the house very good. The pool was refreshing after a long day outside and outside shower was amazing. The villa offers great privacy.
