Enjoyed our surroundings throughout the resort. However, the beach was a little disappointing.

Very friendly staff,great location ,good cocktails ;) The only bad thing was the WiFi...super slow,even when we pay for it,still wasn't satisfied ! But I hear that all of the hotels have the same problem! I definitely recommend this hotel,very pleasant stay after all ;)

There was a problem with my reservation at check in. Finally they found it. I had reserved a Junior suite. The employee tried to give me a lower category room, telling me that was the suite. I had to wait more than two hours at The lobby for my room to be ready The food was not Of good quality and The beach chairs were in a deplorable condition

Very nice hotel - beautiful grounds and beach. Service generally excellent, but occasionally slow (for example there were not always enough staff in the bar at busy times). Food was okay - would be better if they focused on quality and variety rather than having 'gala' evenings on the beach or by the pool that most people did not seem to enjoy. Rooms were very spacious - shame they did not have comfortable furnishings. Lovely sea view from the junior suites. Good there was free wifi, but it was very slow.

We had a really good time at Dream Of Zanzibar - the hotel was comfortable and pleasant, the crew were very nice and professional. For the hotel improvement - we think can be more personal treatment. for example ask if the couple is on a honeymoon.

I stayed here recently for a weekend with a few friends. The hotel is very nice and the service is great. The staff are always asking how you are doing, if they can get you anything. It's located on the east coast right on the beach. There is a huge difference in the tides which is really cool to see. At low tide you can walk out so far in knee deep water and then swim in high tide. The rooms are gorgeous. There are several restaurants to choose from though the food was just okay in my opinion. For us we only stayed a couple days so it was fine. This is an Italian property so all the plugs are Italian and different from Tanzania. I get the clientele is largely Italian so I understand why they have Italian plugs, but it is a bit baffling to me why you would not have any that are the same as the entire rest of the country you are in. Thankfully they have adapters you can use if you put down a deposit.

Very pleasant stay; air conditioning worked great; food was excellent with many choices; the beds were beautifully decorated with fresh flowers daily; only 2 concerns: bed was a little hard for my taste since I usually don't sleep well would prefer pillow top mattress; the beach was not user friendly to sports even though facility was available for kayaks and windsurfing; great greeting on arrival; staff was all very friendly and accommodating; also wish they had at least 2 working treadmills at the gym; lots of people wanted to use the gyn; there wasn't even one working treadmill and there was nowhere to run around the facility

A very nice set up hotel, quite small but with plenty available. Beautiful turquoise blue sea and a great beach. Lovely pool down by the beach with the main restaurant (buffet) and the smaller restaurants nearby. The smaller restaurants were mostly the same food as the main one but quieter which was nice. Overall we were very impressed, 4-6 nights would be plenty and we really enjoyed coming here after 2 nights in Stone Town and a trip around the spice farms.
