Longview Hotel

Room was very pleasant, was enough parking on road and at the carpark for 2 cars. Walking distance of the main bars and areas of Knutsford.

The hotel is welcoming, friendly and clean. Near the centre so easy walk to local pubs and restaurants.

Excellent place. May not be as luxurious as some of the hotels nearby, but has this feeling of being at home that I really enjoyed.

The staff and owners are really lovely people, and the location to restaurants and the train station. My room and bathroom were clean, housekeeping did a nice job. My room rate did not include breakfast, and I thought that 8GBP for cold breakfast and 12GBP for added eggs and toast was unreasonable, as was 1.75GBP for a 6-oz cola. I will likely stay there again, but will eat my meals elsewhere.

I booked through Expedia and any of the reviews mentioned the personaull feel of this inn.Lulu the owner allowed a slightly earlier than uisual check time and average professionalism from staff such as Neil.The big chains can offer amenities but not the common touch.

We wanted a good hotel close to Tatton Park for the RHS Flower Show. This was ideal. We can't walk far and the entrance to the park was literally 5 minutes stroll away. Regarding the hotel itself, bearing in mind it is not The Ritz, it was very clean, the staff very friendly and the food was really good (a la carte); you had to wait a little longer but then it was freshly cooked. We had a premium room and found the bathroom well fitted - shower was perfect for us. Our only complaint is that the bed was as hard as rock. This will suit some people - just not us. The small town of Knutsford is only a short stroll away (even for us). We will use again if in the area. Can certainly recommend.

A really pleasant short stay, much nicer than a pub we stayed in recently in Knutsford
