Pensión Los Montes

La pensión está situada justo al lado de la calle Elvira, y es fenomenal para volver a descansar cuando te apetezca o a recoger cosas que se te hayan olvidado. La habitación donde nos quedamos estaba muy limpia, con su propio cuarto de baño, también muy limpio, televisión y frigorífico. Muy satisfecho con mi estancia y volvería sin pensarlo dos veces.

Towels were very questionable, but were changed every day and room was cleaned every day as well. However, staff was very nice and very accommodating. For example, we checked out at 12 and we had to leave our luggage somewhere till 8 pm, so the receptionist kept it for free at her desk. We offered money for that but she didn’t take.

Het hotel ligt exact tussen het centrum en de interessante wijk Albaycin, beter kun je het niet hebben. Prima basic hotel, veel privacy. Goed bed. Prima service, de eigenaren blinken alleen niet uit in Engels. Jammer dat de Spanjaarden nog geen dubbel glas hebben uitgevonden, want er is wel wat straatlawaai met dank aan de nabijgelegen hoofdstraat. Parkeren bij het hotel is lastig, wij hadden wat geluk en vonden dichtbij een gratis parkeerplaats op straat. Anders in een parkeergarage. Al met al prima budgethotel!

Hotel pulito con camere non particolarmente grandi. Molto apprezzabile l'aria condizionata e soprattutto la wifi gratuita. La posizione è eccezionale: in pochi minuti si raggiunge il centro di Granada a piedi.

Well, if you just want to sleep with low budget, it is a recommendable place. We arrived early morning around 7 so not sure to check-in but the manager didn't even ask anything and gave a room key. He doesn't speak English much(almost at all) but very kind and easy-going person. Very tiny shower with toilet, a bit dark inside, many stairs but close to the bus stops and the main road but not noisy, walk distance to Alhambra also. There are small shops and cheap places to eat, too. For me, it was OK.

Nous y avons séjourné 3 nuits en juin 2012. Bon emplacement près de la cathédrale, climatisation et wi fi gratuit dans les chambres. Il y a aussi un frigo qui peut être pratique. Notre chambre était assez grande, un peu bruyante. La literie était vieillotte mais la chambre était très propre avec des serviettes changées chaque jour. Bien pour les petits budgets et pour quelques nuits.

Staff was friendly and helpful; they even kept our bags while we traveled. Even with our poor Spanish we managed to communicate. The room is clean and neat. It is a GREAT location for getting around Madrid; three metro stops within easy walking distance. Price is wonderful. We gave it a 4 because the room was on a noisy street, even during the night. But we still would go back. Suggestions: soap dish in the shower, clothes hooks in the bathroom (since these are communal areas), and towel racks in the bedroom (since the bathroom is shared).

We spent there only one night so not much to say. We had bedroom for four people and it was really really small, but we didn't spent our time there so it was ok for sleeping. Room was clean and warm. Location was really good!
