Poor service Low water pressure resulting in issues flushing toilet, using hand basin and shower Had to pay again on arrival as they could not access payment from booking.com - this was not communicated to me prior Hilly property with steep walks to room; not a problem if no mobility issues, but would be an issue for elderly, young children and those with walking problems

Property is old, price to amenities is not upto the standard especially in the washroom. The views only keep you going.

It was a lovely hotel. It was a bit out of Phi Phi main party area. So nice and relaxing. It was on the opposite side to a lot of the hostels which have a "younger croud" so there wasn't rowdy bars, but it wasn't far to find them. The steps to our room were a killer, but the view when we got there was wonderful. There are some rooms up there with no view at all. I would have been incredibly disappointed if we'd had one of those. The only thing that makes the climb worth it is the view! And I'm not exaggerating when I call it a climb! People with mobility or fitness issues need not apply! Staff were great. The young bell boy who took our 2 rucksacks to our room was so strong and fit he bolted up those steps all 72 of them! An chuckled at us sweating and panting behind him! I told the receptionist about my boyfriends birthday and the maid did a wonderful bed decoration for my boyfriends birthday with flowers and towels. She was great.

The beach wasn't the best but just a short walk to the next beach it's much better (love beach) and there's a small bar that has cold drinks! The pool was hard to find but very tranquil we were the only people there for the most part.

Warning!! The hotel will try to charge customers that paid with booking.com one more time! They come to you and claims that you need to pay directly to them, even if they know that you have already paid! They will not let you leave the hotel without giving them your credit card. And then you must reclaim payment from booking.com The entire reception was full of customers that had the same experience!!

We had no complaints until check out overall okay but nothing spectacular, was okay to lay head for a few nights and powerful air con.

The water from the shower was dirty thankfully brought a shower filter. When getting back to the hotel on our last night around 11pm we had a letter stuck to our door saying payment from booking.com not received however was paid for and funds had left my bank. Had all the confirmations. Nothing was mentioned at check in. In the morning when we checked out they said that we needed to get in contact with booking.com for them to process the payment which had already left my bank in August!!! They then proceeded to say that we needed to pay more money and cancel our booking to which we declined and can’t do anyway because we had already stayed. Overall staff are incompetent rude and don’t understand basic hospitality. They wanted to take computes of our credit cards to charge and then get a refund back from booking.com. This just ruined our whole experience of the phi phi islands. The whole thing seemed like a scam as never before have I encountered having to pay twice when going through booking.com. We had all the evidence to show that we had paid and we weren’t the only people with this issue. I think booking.com need to get rid of this hotel off their books amor make it pay at property.

This resort is ideally situated—close to some of the area’s most beautiful beaches and hidden coves, while still being within walking distance of the main town. The rooms are pleasant and comfortable, offering lovely views; although slightly dated, they are well maintained and cozy. Cleanliness is good overall, with the occasional insect here and there, which is to be expected in a tropical setting. If you’re reasonably fit and don’t mind a bit of walking, this resort is a great choice.
