Hotel Kalehan

Kalehan's owner & staff are the most amazing people in the hospitality world, in our experience. We would strongly recommend visitors to Ephesus stay with them for a total stay experience to match the ancient city visit.

The hotel had a fabulous garden complete with tortoises which we enjoyed very much . The location was good .The room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable enough . The hotel had plenty of charm and overall we enjoyed our stay . This is not an expensive choice of hotel and represented good value for the money.

Our room was a little small for two we could have done with another chair . The breakfast was perfectly adequate but it was not the best we had on our trip.

Hotel Kalehan exceeded my expectations! This charming hotel is the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. A beautiful cascade of purple bouganveilla framed the window of my room! And it overlooked a tree-shaded courtyard perfect for reading or a cocktail and conversation. The staff--from reception, bellhop, chef and hotel owner--offered exceptional service. Delicious dinner and breakfast. My room was charmingly decorated and the bed was super comfy. Don't miss this wonderful hotel!

Easy location to get around town and to Ephesus. The grounds were pretty and the beds and pillows very comfortable. The breakfast was varied and plentiful which was a great way to start the day!

The hotel is a bit dated.

The garden was very lovely , the rooms clean and comfortable .We particularly loved the Tortoises in the garden , and the availability of nice seating to sit out and enjoy the rose filled garden. The swimming pool looked clean and inviting .

The room we had was a little on the small side but it was fine , just could have done with a second chair or somewhere extra to put a bag , we were two friends sharing a twin room so this would not apply if you were a single occupancy or a couple .

Quite idyllic setting with a lovely courtyard, tables and chairs to enjoy the cool breeze, sounds of animals, and perhaps a picnic or meal. Whole place has plenty of foliage, hence cooling and inviting. Staff are very warm and accommodating and ensures that you have a comfortable time.

Carpet has smell of stale sweat. Beds are very soft (User 60KG). Wifi was weak 🥲, when we informed the host, they passed us a Wifi Box which rectified the problem completely for 5 devices. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

A beautiful historic hotel within walking distance of restaurants shops and St John’s basilica. Very nice staff. Rooms were large, well-appointed with refrigerator. Excellent breakfast and nice common areas

We did get some road noise.

Beautiful gardens and great memorabilia decor. Great daily breakfasts and dinner was excellent as well.

Too early in the season for the pool to be up and running.

Hotel Kalehan was a great place to stay while visiting Ephesus. Clean rooms, beautiful property and excellent breakfasts. We especially liked the towel warmers in the bathroom.
