Royal Park Sanjo is a hotel i come back to again and again. I've stayed here many times over the years. The location is fantasic - Sanjo is ideal as a base in Kyoto for the aesthetics, the availability of all sorts of shops and eateries, and proximity to train stations. The hotel itself has always had a welcoming feel, and just signals comfort. I have sought the help from the staff many times, and am grateful that many of them have been most helpful.

I am really appreciative of the Royal Park Sanjo which is why i have returned many times over the years. But I wish they can look at some upgrading. For example, the laundry machines and dryers are still separate machines, which means travellers have to make multiple trips for laundry. The room slippers have been kept the same over the years, but they are too small and could be thicker. The room pajamas is similarly too small. While some parts of tradition keeps the hotel's identity, it should look at upgrading.

Отличная уверенная 4-ка. Все по-японски чисто, на месте, не обшарпанное, завтрак отличный с европейским блюдами.

Как всгда, чуть маловаты по европейским стандартам номера. Бронировали "впритык" для командировки, цена была довольно высокая.

駅から近いのと遊ぶ場所も近かった

Would have liked earlier breakfast start time so we could eat before heading out for early starts (opened at 7.00am)
