Es war ein perfekter (!) Urlaub: - sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel (Kolonialstil) - sehr sauber - Personal absolut freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend - Frühstück (a la carte) sehr fein Wir haben uns im CASA AZUL seeehr wohl gefühlt und können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen! Gracias por todo....!!

The gorgeous architecture, classic decor, large spacious rooms, attention to detail ( so many nice amenities in the room), everything on the menu is delicious, staff is delightful, cheerful, helpful

For the price point and the over all infrastructure of the property - with the eye for detail what cam as a surprise was the following, A) There was no tea or coffee facility in the room. B) basic such as a cookie or even a biscuit wasn’t available with the tea service.C) even water was charged, which really unusual when the quality of water is poor.D) we asked for an extra helping of fruit in the afternoon and we were told that this was not possible. I guess we are just used to a different level and quality of service in Asia

The breakfast was delicious and always served. The servers are marvellous . The location was so relaxing - lovely to watch the birds in the gorgeous bird bath . The staff throughout the Casa Azul were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

We both found the room abit too dark . And abit cluttered with extra “ stuff” in keeping with the relocation of a home 150 yrs ago . For example. , there was limited room on the desk top .

Breakfast was wonderful--Raoul, our waiter, was exceptional! Also, the quiet, relaxing courtyard was so lovely!

The menus were limited; however, we were able to ask for special requests.

It’s essentially a beautiful and special museum with a few very attentive staff, including David, who provided outstanding service. The panes dulces at breakfast were amazing!! The cute little pool was nice.

Uncomfortable in general. The pillows were terrible and there were no comfortable places to sit, either in the room or in common areas. There were no common areas that were air conditioned. There wasn’t enough light in my room or bathroom. Dark and gloomy. Also, not a full service property—dinner has to be ordered 24 hours in advance.
