Location somewhat OK

We are 2 couples . When we arrived at 3:00 PM we weee told only 1 room was ready . We put all our luggage in that room . We felt the room needed a refresh - a little tired and unusual layout . We then noticed 2 puddles of water on the floor . I found some towels in the pantry in the hall and tried wiping up the water . The towels were quite dirty when I finished . We then decided we did mort want to stay and at that point started looking around town . We found a pleasant alternate and went back to say we were not staying . The staff were VERY unsympathetic but we took our luggage anyway and moved to another hotel . We were told there would be no refund . I am in process of looking to get a refund and would like to know the process . Thank you - Christopher Woollam
