Pillhofer Hotel

A stay so close to the station in the Old town. Very old building, no air conditioning, no elevator. I was on the 3rd floor rm 5 at the back looking on the alley 😞 there was a fan but it did nothing for the heat. There was raucous party and firecrackers and noise all night. Double bed was 2 singles together that were on wheels so all night they would move if you roll over. The room was clean, service was friendly, mini fridge in room, good enough for a quick one night but definitely not for long vacation.

Es war alles wie erwartet. Direkt am Bahnhof und an der Fußgängerzone. So wollte ich das!

This is my second visit to this hotel and as always they were wonderful. The staff, rooms and location are five star.

Everything was spectacular, definitely coming back.

Wow, to stay just inside the old city walls of Nuremberg was awesome. This is a building built in the 1600s, which is cool, but realize this means no elevator. Fortunately, upon check in someone carried our big bag up for us. Sadly, they were no available on check out. Loved the view from the room and its closeness to everything, but it could use a little upkeep.

Staff was friendly and the room was clean. The hotel is very centrally located near the train station. We stayed on the 2nd floor, facing the street. The rooms we not very sound proof and you can hear a lot of what was going on outside. If you’re a light sleeper, this could be an issue.

Very nice place. I was afraid it was going to be noisy above a bar but it was fine. The stair is very echoing but I slept good all night. The staff was super friendly and helped me with my luggage up the stairs.

Friendly staff, convenient and though not air conditioned it had a great fan

Nice location, nice room, friendly staff. Only problem: no reception! Check in is after 2 pm when restaurant opens.
