Hotel Stadt München

we have a very unpleasant experience in this hotel. Room was very warm and airco wasn’t working properly. We also had to ask for the remote control of the airco at reception, we were given a half broken and without possibility to change it. The room had balcony which is shared with other 4 rooms. Breakfast quite pricy for its quality and variety The worst part of this negative experience, the staff!! Very unfriendly and impolite and of course they cannot care less if you have an issue or raise a complain! They even get angry and rude if you do

Although the hotel is quite dated, it was perfect for my 4 nights in Düsseldorf. Hotel is within walking distance of main station and many restaurants, including the many Japanese restaurants in Düsseldorf. Hotel staff were very nice and attentive, they let us store our bags as we arrived before check in. Staff also promptly attended to any problems we had such as room keys not working. We didn’t pay for breakfast so can’t comment on that but 16 euros seemed a bit expensive.

Very good hotel. 8 minutes to HBF and 10 minutes to the K’O, if you know the right cut throughs. Very clean hotel. Spacious room. Great shower.

Stayed at the Stadt Munchen hotel for three days last week for a business trip. What looks like an unassuming side street hotel is actually a hidden gem, with extremely clean and comfortable rooms, spacious parking (believe it or not!), friendly staff and very reasonably priced. Great location too - only a 10 minute walk from the Altstadt district and a five minute walk from the closest subway station. Recommended.

Stayed at another hotel in November (Muze Hotel) for a first stay in Düsseldorf. That one was rather trendy (Japanese toilet, etc.), so… regarding the pictures of Stad München Hotel, we thought we would go back to the eighties. Okay, we did to a certain extent in decoration/furnishings, however… LOVED IT! Nice personnel, the room (#405) was (warm and) comfortable ( very small bath though), clean, location good , close to city centre (walking distance), lots of Asian restaurants around at any price! The breakfast we really enjoyed!!! Well organized and presented, multiple options, and fresh. So, if we would stay in Düsseldorf again, this is a very good and reasonably priced option!

This was a great place to stay. The room was amazing, and the staff was polite. What more could you ask for?
