Jeg likte positiviteten til vertskapet og muligheten til å lage enkel mat på kjøkkendelen av rommet. Det var midt i blinken for meg som motvekt til overdådige middager vi ble invitert ut på av andre. Jeg var egentlig med på en konsertturne med koret mitt og det inkluderte alt for mye mat. Derfor var det kjempefint med muligheten til å lage enkle måltider i studioet. Brødrister og expresso maskinen ble flittig brukt. Fint med uformell og enkel standard.

The apartment is located near the harbor in the old city. Very quiet and clean with nice views of the city from the rooftop. We will gladly stay at the same location should we come back to Rethymnon.

In 2025 we first time were looking for 2 weeks holidays at Rethymno, Crete. Based on very good ratings we asked "Barbara Studios" successful for possible booking. The Place was just perfect. We enjoyed the historic highlights like Venecian port, Old City of Rethymno, Venecian Castle beside of many others. All of historic places were less than 100 m away by foot. On top we enjoyed our studio as well as the very family like "Barbara Studios". After all of this we again booked "Barbara Studios" for 2 weeks in May 2026. Of course we were happy to get the same studio as last Year. All over we had very nice vacation again. Thank you very much dear Mrs. IRo with hope to come next Year again to "Barbara Studios"

The location is fantastic and it's a very cozy spot close to the city. We did enjoy our stay and would recommend the place. They even did the extra mile as we were getting married that week and we do greatly appreciate it

From the pre arrival info to the welcome, to the room, to the hospitality from Iro, everything was perfect. The location a couple of minutes from the harbour and in the old town was great, restaurants just a few steps away. We were in room 7 which had a small kitchen area and a private balcony which was great to sit on with a tea first thing and a wine later on. It is a beautiful old family home which has lovingly been transformed into apartments/rooms. There are lovely messages to the ‘Barbarians’ and art and flowers sprinkled about the home. If you are thinking of staying in Rethymo this would be an excellent choice

La localisation

Très sombre au rez-de-chaussée. Bruyant (la porte d’entrée principale fait un vacarme sans nom à chaque fois que quelqu’un rentre). Odeur d’humidité.

Prachtig huis, uitzonderlijk mooie kamer en badkamer, comfortabel breed bed (160cm) perfecte ligging (centraal maar stil), vriendelijke eigenares, leuke binnenplaats om te zitten.
