Basic but fine

The interior decor of the central part of the hotel was nothing like the pictures on the hotel site, it looks like it hasn't been painted in 25 years. Some of the rooms are really nice i can say that as we saw two different types of room. The room we were given for our first night (arrived at 0100) was disgusting as the room we had booked hadn't been cleaned, although they tried to offer it to us with full ash trays and unmade beds. When we obviously refused they moved us to the horrid room above (filthy dirty, rusty bathroom fittings, damp looking walls) and the following morning we moved to a really nicely decorated room that was fine. Only leaving this detail as when i suggested we should a have a discounted rate for the first night, they refused. I definitely wouldn't stay here again and couldn't recommend it.

It’s located close to the main bazar.

Room had windows to main corridor with light weight curtains. It was noisy. Staff weren’t helpful. Access was hard due to location.

We were moved to a room with a beautifully hand-painted ceiling which was recently renovated. It was a comfortable room. The lady at reception was very helpful and was in contact with me from before arriving.

We returned in the evening but could not have a shower because the water was cold. Inspite of calling reception numerous times and they sent a man to check it out, and being promised that they have turned the water pump and water boiler on, the water was still cold. The newly made bathroom had drainage issues as the water did not go down the drain easily and ended up in the whole bathroom. Also, there was no water as in their web photo and therefore it did not look spectacular.
