TownePlace Suites by Marriott Minot

The room apparently had some painting or something done. There was dust or spray or something everywhere. Including the TV, door handles, chairs and mirrors. We were told upon check out that it was paint overspray. No matter. It appeared filthy because of it.

Front entrance was warm & inviting. The room was spacious, and the amenities were great. We liked the full size fridge, the cooktop, and especially the microwave/oven combo. The TV was a bit small but it worked good. The only complaint or area we thought could used improved, was the mattress. Most hotels now offer "pillowtop" mattresses, but not here yet.

Put in an "upgrade" from the 2 bed room we booked. It wad a handicap room in the back corner. The fridge made gringing noises all night. The flooring was so thin that you could here every step the people above us made. The beds were ok, breakfast standard breakfast. Room was very hot when we checked in and very cold when we got up in morning. Would hesitate to book this hotel in future.

Hotel was adequate but pricy. Breakfast had several empty options. No house keeping staff on the 2nd day. Heater was clicking and noisy. Dishwasher was full of dishes in room so we had to run it before being able to use them.

Smelled like a diesel shop. Bathroom hair all over shower. Carpets dirty.

This as a really good hotel. It was clean, quiet, safe, comfortable and in good repair. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was quite good and the amenities were appreciated. The only reason I didn't give it a 5/5 was because of the bathroom. I found it quite cold and the floor was a bit slippery and cold. The shower was slippery as well and I was concerned about slipping and falling. Overall, however, this was a great place to stay.

Nice hotel, convenient to shopping, restaurants and hospital. Room was large and very clean. Breakfast had many options.

The room was very good. We liked the kitchenette. Very comfortable overall. Good breakfast too. I didn't like that we had to pay $25 extra to stay until noon.
