Schwarzwald Park Hotel

Quite an odd feel about the place, not helped by the kitchen closing at 7.30pm and last orders at the bar half an hour later(it is nowhere near anything else), is it a hotel or bed & breakfast, we ordered a burger that was quite undercooked, I also ordered a double scoop of ice-cream, the wafer was soft and it cost €9 for the two scoops. The room on the 3rd floor was a good size but dated. Breakfast, after the burger I avoided anything cooked or dairy, coffee was ok though.

Bar closes around 20:00 or 21:00 i guess. After that there is nothing to do in the hotel :) My room was very old but it was clean. At least bed could be more comfortable. But not such a big deal for one night.

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und von guter Qualität. Das Haus selbst ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und das Mobiliar müsste dringend erneuert werden. In der Beschreibung von Expedia war das Haus rollstuhlgerecht. Leider konnte man das Haus nur über eine Freitreppe mit 8 Stufen erreichen😢

Wunderschön gelegenenes Hotel mitten im Park. Sehr stimmungsvolles Ambiente, tolles Frühstück, sehr netter Service.

Enough towels in the bathroom. Very silent area.

The mattress was really not good and we had difficulty to sleep. Much too soft! The room was too warm even if the radiator were out: The bedroom floor was too hot and not really in good order.

La dame à réception était désagréable :(( a l’arrivée comme au départ :)(Chambres vieillissantes, petit déjeuner décevant, pas beaucoup de choix . Une mauvaise odeur dans tout l’hôtel. Sinon la salle de bain était propre, le matelas était trop mou..
