Posada Peregrinus

This is a perfect place to stay if you are unfamiliar with Lima and want a more personal touch then a true hotel. While this is not a typical hotel experience, the owners are such friendly people and extremely helpful to tourists from all over the world. The hotel price includes airport transportation and they personally picked us up even after landing at midnight local time. Give this place a shot!

I needed a room for just one night after returning from Cusco before a 7am flight. Posadas Peregrinus fit the bill. The owners arranged airport drop off and pick up and were friendly in addition to speaking English. The room was very clean and wi-fi worked great. The only downside was that the rooms were warm and there is no AC or fan. There was no screen on the windows and there was a lot of street noise which made sleeping a bit difficult but for the price, no complaints!

The owners were superb and the room was very comfortable and very clean.

Accueilli par une famille vraiment adorable. Nous ont prodigués des conseils ô combien nécessaire. Et nous ont aidés pour toute la suite des vacances. Je recommande fortement.

Parfait en tous points : chambres propres et confortables, eau chaude, calme. Emplacement de l'hôtel moyen mais il est vraiment facile de trouver un taxi pour le centre historique ou Miraflores a moins de 5 euros. Un grand bravo aux gerants : ils nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de chaleurs et de dévouement en nous donnant des conseils sur Lima et le Perou. Le contact humain avec cette equipe a largement contribué au déroulement positif de notre sejour. Vraiment au top !.

Nuestra experiencia en la posada, con sus administradores (Ricardo y Beatriz) y el hermoso país de Perú fue fabulosa. Hablamos, compartimos, conocimos, visitamos, y nos hicieron sentir por unos días parte de su familia. Es difícil mejorar la experiencia pero creemos que nos hará falta volver algunas veces más así que lo diremos de nuevo: toca repetir!!!.

I enjoyed conversations with fellow residents and the owners, who were all very friendly and helpful. The room was quite lovely!

Staff was very friendly! There was a little kitchen to cook in. The taxi rides into the areas we wanted to see were Between 10 and 25 soles. Interior of the hotel adds to the charm and authenticity of a Peruvian stay. We would recommend it!

Was there for two nights in double bed room. Near town Center. Basic but nice and worth the money. Possibility to borrow bikes.
