Hotel Rural Casamarilla

Mein Mann und ich haben 3 Nächte im Hotel Rural Casamarilla verbracht. Das Hotel selbst ist toll! Richtig schön renoviert, toller Garten, viele Parkplätze. Leider ist die Lage und der Service furchtbar. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Autobahn. Ich hatte mich bei der Buchung von den tollen Bildern blenden lassen und gar nicht gecheckt wo es genau liegt, nur nahe an Puerto de la Cruz. Das stimmt auch. Mit dem Auto ist man super schnell in Puerto. Dort kann man auf dem großen kostenlosen Parkplatz am Hafen parken und eines der vielen Restaurants ansteuern. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Ruhe haben wir dennoch nicht viel gefunden, da die Autobahn sehr laut war und das Zimmer eiskalt. Teils gab es auch kein warmes Wasser im Bad. Zusätzlich war der Service im Hotel schlecht, eigenltich gar nicht vorhanden. Die Zimmer wurden kein einziges mal gemacht. Die Belegschaft/Eigentümer sind nur da wenn jemand anreist. Bei der Abreise kann man sich mit einer der Damen, die das Frühstück machen, wegen der Rechnung rumschlagen. Das Frühstück ist für kanarische Verhältnisse mit 7,50€/p.P. wucher - vor allem für das Angebot. In Summe trotz des schönen Stils und der nähe zu Puerto de la Cruz nicht zu empfehlen.

Hotellet er meget fredeligt med frodig have. Meget autentisk indretning. Venlig betjening og rigtig god morgenmad. Super, hvis man søger uturistet sted med fred og ro. Den nærliggende by har to restauranter, og man kan fint gå langs det brølende Atlanterhav til Los Silos, der har flere restauranter og i øvrigt er meget hyggelig og et rigtig godt udgangspunkt for smukke vandrerture. Vi var meget uheldige med vejret. Det var usædvanligt koldt i februar, og så er der også for koldt/klamt indendørs på hotellet

very friendly, welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast, with lots of choice. Peaceful.

Really nice place to stay, great staff, simmingpool and roof top terasse. Maybe a bit expensive compared to other places, but the privacy in only sharing the common areas with 5 other rooms is worth it.

Very unhappy with being given a damp room in an outbuilding. My recommendation to a friend would be conditonal on him/her not being offered the rm we had

Me and my boyfriend both loved this place. Nice rooms, all staff are lovely and very helpful. Very secure. The pool area is probably real good but we had some January days a bit too cold for a dip. The neighbourhood has some small 'Supermercado' (supermarkets) and we found some tasty restaurants too. All I can say is STAY HERE! This old villa among all the bananas is grand!

We loved Casamarilla. After spending a week at a conference in Playa de las Americas, we needed somewhere quiet where we could enjoy a more genuine Tenerife. Although we speak very little Spanish, we managed to communicate very well with the animated Isabelle, and since bananas are an important part of the economy, staying on the plantation was a unique experience.

i did not know it was a Finca but the experience was a pleasant one and we enjoyed our one night stay.

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and I felt very secure because the gates were automatic and access was only allowed through the use of the keys; a fob or through the main controls in the hotel. Although close to the village of La Calleta the only noise to be heard was the fireworks to celebrate a local saint's day. It was a small hotel, in the centre of a banana plantation. The pool was small but clean and fairly warm. The only downside was very little English was spoken by most of the staff and there wasn't a kettle or tea making facility in the room, which would have made my stay more comfortable. This hotel retains many original features and is mainly furnished to suit the character of the building. I would return to this hotel again.
