GBit was A good location had been to Franklin before so thought I would give this hotel a chance. the manager was exceptional. I had a bad back got into difficulties on the beach. he called the taxi and arranged for them to pick me up and take me back to the hotel. he also very kindly put gifts and banners and balloons and a Colin centipede cake in there for dinner for fiance 70th birthday
the The heat in the bedroom was unbearable, couldn't sleep. there weren't any fans that make any difference even though I understand we're having a heatwave and everyone is struggling. it's still made for a very uncomfortable night. didn't like the fact that there wasn't a lounge. if you wanted to be comfortable, you had to sit in. what was they called? the lounge which was a breakfast room, dining room and everything all together wasn't happy with that. they had a terrace outside which was good but again no comfortable chairs to relax in, it could be improved but will have to wait and see in the end. at least they tried their best

Very noisy in rooms from nearby rooms and corridor. Very hot in room on hot day. No air conditioning in room.
GBBreakfast good choices. Bar well stocked. Room Pleasant with added bonus of balcony with stunning sea views Staff very pleasant and accommodating. Beach very good, although steep climb back to hotel if lift is not in operation.
En suite very small, electric shower very erratic and shower cubicle extremely small. no space for toiletries. Toiletries provided very basic. Limited menu for lunch and dinner with early finish time. Should have been warned about steep climb from beach if the lift is not working.
