Llety Cynin

Hotel was absolutely amazing including rooms, facilities, restaurant, bar and staff. One of the best hotels we've stayed in. Very reasonable price too.

Very nice location but bathroom very small and we had larger room! No gluten-free which was disappointing. Didn’t really feel it was worth the extra we paid. Staff lovely and very friendly. Everywhere clean and tidy.

The staff were professional, relaxed and friendly. The accommodation was excellent, the facilities brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Llety Cynin to anyone.

The hotel is based in the rural surroundings and farms. The hotel itself was lovely, clean and comfortable. There was a strong smell of manure which would creep in if windows or doors were left open, so if you have a sensitive nose and want to enjoy your stay make sure you keep your room windows shut.

Pool is good, room was clean , in 30 degrees heat no mini fridge, no ac or fan.travelling with 2 kids. Covered in mosquito bites as having to sleep with windows open. Staff not pro active . Did not feel 4*venue due to service or quality of food.

The location is a dairy farm so I supposed we should have expected some smells and flies,

Lovely Spot located in a farm on the outskirts of St Clears and I was happy to accept the country smells no issue whatsoever! The flies however were another thing! We had to go out and buy Raid because they were literally swarming in our room! Had it been cold we would have left the window closed but with no air conditioning and warm weather! Well you can imagine! We had afternoon tea which was really good and plentiful but the Gluten free option was poor and this became a theme for the weekend. The hotel were made aware by all of us separately that one of our party was GF. This is a health issue not a life choice but they couldn’t provide anything GF for breakfast for 2 out of 3 days! It was only when we complained that they actually made an effort! The bar was closed at 9.30pm, what happened to the bar closing when residents had enough!! Non residents were given priority for the spa so we couldn’t all go swimming together or in fact in 2 groups of 4 for the whole weekend! This hotel has potential to be lovely as the rooms(fly free) are lovely but they seriously need to look at what their paying guests want! The young girls waiting on were lovely but I think it’s the management who need to think about how they come across!

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Pity the pool was closed due to Covid.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they notified me straight away when I left my washbag and even offered to post it back to me for a small fee (fortunately i was still in the area) The room was clean and tidy and very comfortable. When hotels leave water in the room this is always a big bonus for me and the litre bottle of local spring water was well received, as was the box of Welsh short bread (Yes an actual box, I couldn’t believe it) they even left an individual bottle of hand sanitiser. The restaurant food was also stunning, I had the pork cheeks which I highly recommend. If I'm in the area again I will definitely re-book

Room was very nice and staff pleasant. Not sure I would rate it as a family friendly stay. Food was very nice and not bad value. On the down side the room had no clean or replacement of cups during our few days and I needed to request cups to be able to have a hot drink which I thinks is a bit sad for the money. But overall ok.
