The Granary at Fawsley

We absolutely loved staying at The Granary. Beautiful scenery, clean well decorated rooms and the bed was really comfortable. We didn’t meet the staff until the followeibg day but they really went out of there way to make the stay special. You really can’t ask for more.

Great place for walks etc., lovely country feel, would love to hire the whole place for my husbands 70th for family, a proper little hidden gem.

Nothing. Would probably put a waste bin outside. But no big issue we sat outside with our picnic then took rubbish back in.

Staff were lovely and breakfast was an added bonus. A very peaceful location, with lovely views.

Could have done with a little fridge in the bedroom and slightly bigger TV.

Secluded and quiet up a private access drive in beautiful sheep pastures. Reception and rooms off a central pretty lawned quadrangle. The room was big enough for two and clean and warm and quiet. The double bed was good with good linen and pillows and cushions. Tea and coffee, kettle and coffee machine and biscuits. Tele. Big clean and bright shower room. Plenty of good towels and toiletries. There is a bar (It’s a wedding venue) and the good staff allowed us to buy drinks before they left at five. Breakfast was good - cereals, yoghurts, fruit, cooked, juice etc.

It is out in sheep fields and quite isolated; no food available. The room has a window at the front on to the quadrangle and a window at the back onto the car park; so, not very private. The big shower room has a small shower cubicle. The horrendous green safety light on the ceiling far too bright.
