"A lovely wee spot in the very heart of the village."

The location is fantastic. The room was great. Breakfast and service was excellent.

Parking can be a bit snug with a larger vehicle (Toyota Hilux).

We love England. We love The Dales. And now Ashfield House too. Comfortable room, nice bed. Perfect breakfast tailored to your choice of the morning. The hostess, Duracell-powered because she was always available, gave us lots of good advice and tips for the day. With a smile. Highly recommended in an authentic village with plenty of places to eat and drink. You might even bump into James Herriot there.

Everything was just fine.
