The room was very nice, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the food was truly excellent. We recommend the fish and chips, and the pies... The only niggles were quite minor: the TV didn't work while we were there, and the en-suite door stuck quite badly. These didn't detract from the stay!

This was a fantastic stay. The Bull's Head pub was fantastic. The food was superb - really high quality. We dined there both nights, The pub was lovely and traditional. A lovely pub atmosphere, The rooms were super comfy, spotlessly clean, spacious, with modern bathrooms and traditional bedrooms. Nice communal tea/coffee area in the hallway outside the rooms. Breakfast was great. Really tasty full English breakfast. The staff were very warm and welcoming. It was so lovely we didn't want to leave! :)

Everything about our night at The Bull was fantastic: the service, the room and the food were all outstanding. It was great value too. I would recommend this to anyone and hope to come back as soon as possible. Many thanks to all the excellent staff!

"No Sunday lie-in "

The only thing that gave us any issues with our stay was the breakfast element. Breakfast was served between 8:30 and 9:00 which is early for a Sunday morning. We were also looking forward to a nice traditional cooked breakfast but the food was continental style with cold meat and cheese. The quality of the food presented was however excellent.

"Great food, beer, room & music. "

We vidited for our wedding anniversary and had a graet time, food, beer was excellent, room was spacious and clean. To cap it off there was live music which added to a great atmosphere and evening. Cant wait to return
